Bunny Apron – Just In Time for Easter

I found this on Pinterest a little while ago, it is adorable!  You know me Im not one to try new patterns often as I have so many of my own ideas and never have enough time in my week to produce them all.  Such a gorgeous idea, I encourage you to buy this pattern and support independent designers, it costs only $12AU (approx).

Here is the link and you must also check out Anneliese’s other patterns…simply divine.

Lieschen Mueller – Bunny Apron Pattern

It is a dress pattern, however I didn’t purchase enough fabric so made it into an apron.  I photographed this on Lulu with nothing underneath but she will wear this with a white tee and some skinny jeans or leggings and still wear it as a dress and not in the kitchen!  I used poplin so hopefully little or no ironing will be needed.

I will go searching for some other fabric as I really love the way Anneliese has put this together with an adjustable elastic back just by using the elastic and left over elastic you probably have at home…no searching for adjustable elastic!  When you do purchase fabric for this, make sure the fabric is 150cm wide, otherwise you will need about 1.50 metres of fabric and you will need to alter the pattern slightly.   It’s simple enough, just cut the skirt piece into two pieces.

Oh and the other thing…I take these photos of Lulu, I took about fifty photos Im usually happy with two or three but this shoot I could only narrow it down to about twenty so you have to see all of them.
